A World of Black Pudding
Black Pudding or Blood Sausage is enjoyed all over the world although the ingredients and method do vary. Whilst the one common ingredient is the use of animal blood, the dry component parts of the rest of the sausage filling including the spice mix is often a cultural, traditional or individual choice. We thought it would be interesting to take you on a tour of the globe to have a look at the many variations of blood sausage available, the ingredients used, how they are produced and how they are consumed as part of the Regions dietary regime.
We have started on our list of countries below, we have found references and articles for each, and as with the history it will take us a little time to research them all properly before writing them up.
